I'm going to start buying Baking Soda in bulk!
Between baking soda and vinegar I'm convinced I never need to buy another cleanser again, I'm going to need to buy bulk bags of baking soda, those little teeny boxes aren't going to cut it. I found a few more uses for baking soda that I had to share:
To clean and freshen plastic retainers..yes the retainers you wear in your mouth to keep your teeth straight, soak in a cup for 30 minutes in a mixture of 2 teaspoons baking soda and water. I actually still have my retainer and I wear it sometimes at night, i'm sure it could use some serious cleaning and freshening since it's over 25 yrs old.
Same goes for denture wearers, soak them in the same mixture of 2 teaspoons baking soda and water for 30 minutes.
For a natural way to get fresh breath and neutralize onion and garlic odors, rinse your mouth just like mouthwash with a mixture of 1/2 teaspoon baking soda in a cup of water, be sure not to swallow. Who's doing this already??
Peanut Butter Popsicles to keep your Dog cool in the heat!
SourceWhen my dogs were alive they loved ice so I would just freeze a large bowl of water and put it out in the yard for them, they would work on that thing for hours, a big dog popsicle!

Target sponsored Free Museum Days
Target sponsors 2,200 free family nights and weekend events at city festivals, and free or reduced-price days at 120 museums all over the country. We've attended some of these fun cultural activities, and visited some of the museums on Target Days here in Dallas, and in Fort Worth.
In fact, last month, we were at the Nasher Sculpture Center downtown, because it was free from 10am to 5pm, for their Target day, as it is every first Saturday, like tomorrow July 7th. They had a kid's art scavenger hunt, story times, hands-on art projects, and more. You have to go check out "Kink" which is a crocheted bridge that you can walk thru:

Hopefully, there's a Target Free Family Event happening near you this summer. Find events in your nearby city here.
Here's a few museums y'all could visit for free or cheap:
Chicago: The Chicago Children's Museum
Philadelphia: The Please Touch Museum
St. Louis: The Magic House
Indianapolis: The Indianapolis Children's Museum
Washington D.C.: John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts
Atlanta: Imagine It! Children's MuseumPhoenix: Phoenix Children's Museum

We finally made the plunge but I promise not to turn into a Zombie from the Walking Dead!
We finally made the plunge and got smartphones with texting and a data package, we've been talking about it for the last 2 years but we just didn't want to fork out the ridiculus amount of money they want for cell phone packages now, it used to be your first born as down payment but they no longer require the down payment so we just pay monthly. Up until now all we have had were the free phones, no texting, no internet, we were probably some of the last people on the planet not to have texting, our friends would look at us like we were leprys "you don't have texting?" "how am I suppose to talk to you?" UHHHH You could call us!!!!!!!
When we got the phones I promised myself that I would not become one of the "Smartphone Zombies", you've seen them, they walk around constantly with the phone in one hand and their head down staring at the screen, scrolling, texting, splitting atoms whatever, I don't know what they are doing but apparently it's pretty important because they can't look up long enough to avoid walking into moving traffic, I stay away from them to avoid being bitten and infected. Then there is the "The person texting me is more important than the person in front of me, call waiting phenomenon" (I really should use the acronym instead of typing the whole thing out) that's where you are talking to someone and suddenly they are no longer in the conversation, they are head down staring at their screen. At first I thought well it must be really important if they are stopping their conversation with me midsentence to answer the text they just recieved, they are probably getting their orders from Mission Impossible headquarters about their next mission, but then I found out it was just a text from their friend saying "WASSSSSUP?"
Long story short, (too late) if you know me and you spot me doing any of the above, please slap me and put my phone in time out for a while, or just text me, wherever I am or whatever i'm doing I'll be sure to answer you! Found this and thought it was so fitting!
